Men’s Gospel Forum

The Men’s Gospel Forum provides men of the parish with a casual forum through which they share ideas and reflections about their faith, thus strengthening them in their roles as fathers, husbands, employees, community volunteers and Christians.

Why is this ministry right for me? “We all face challenges at work and at home. Having the opportunity to learn from men of varying age groups who have faced similar hurdles is extremely helpful. As a result, you will grow as a leader and in your understanding of our Catholic faith. Join us on Monday mornings at 7 AM in the chapel. By 8 AM you’ll be on your way to work, daily Mass or your morning tee time!”

The Men’s Gospel Forum group and the following Monday Mass have been a tremendous boost for my spirituality, my relationship with God through the reflection on the Sacred Scriptures, and the application to real life situations has been fantastic. For instance when I come home to my wife I share my thoughts and conclusions about the theme of the week, and we discuss our conclusions and practical ideas with our kids. Now they call me ‘our leader’, I am so happy and proud for that, and I want to continue to grow in my faith so that they can see the value in it, and adopt the same path according to their ages. I thank God for a blessing that fuels my work week with such a good start.Rosendo Herrera
